“See What's Possible” Challenge

Voting

I don't understand how my boyfriend's entry has been publicized on 4 different college campuses and still only gets 97 votes over the course of a week, and some other entries have been posted and within 24 hours gets 80+ votes. I've also noted that another entry that has skyrocketed in a matter of 4 hours stopped skyrocketing after someone else made a comment on how suspicious that behavior was. I was wondering if you guys can somehow regulate people who are voting for themselves because that is really unfair to the others who are voting legitimately. I'm not trying to accuse anyone of anything, but I'm just saying that it is highly suspicious behavior that might be worth looking into. Thank you for your time.

We are regulating the voting by making it such that a registered user can only vote on any given submission once. Double opt-in email confirmation is being used during registration to help prevent spamming. That being said, this is an open contest and anyone is welcome to view submissions as well as register and vote for them.
