After I uploaded my submission yesterday, a number of people said they got a "no longer available" message when they tried to view the video. I quickly uploaded the video in a different format, and soon both versions were working fine-- but I haven't been able to delete one of the copies. When I click the "edit/delete" button on my profile page, it directs me to a "log in/register" page, even though I'm already logged in. What should I do?
Users can now delete their uploads. When you are logged in and viewing the submissions part of your profile, you will see an edit/delete link under the submission. Clicking that link will take you back to the edit page, where you can scroll to the bottom to delete.
We realized that there is no button that enables people to delete their own submission. We are working to fix this now. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
