See What's Possible. I looked online for who Adobe is gearing their software to, and I picked 3-4 out of the list. First Scene: Graphic Designers/Scientists; just a hand illustration I drew with a red sharpie and brought it all into Photoshop to color in certain areas. Second Scene: St. Martin's Church. 3D model from 3ds Max composited with a photo I took of the location. Third Scene: Web Site I created in Illustrator, but sliced it in Photoshop and saved it for the Web, and I animated those jpegs. Just giving the highlights of how I've used Photoshop in the past projects and it turned out to be a fun project to work on!
